File Specifications
- Work from detailed blueprints, rough sketches or samples.
- Accept files created in both Mac and PC platforms.

- Adobe Illustrator (Creative Suite 1 files or below)
- EPS (Placed files must be linked or embedded)
- Adobe PDF (Specify which page you want. Placed files must be linked or embedded)

We accept files created in several software packages on either platform.
- Illustrator® version Creative Suite 1v
- Quark Xpress® version 6 or earlier
- Corel Draw® versions 5.0, 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0
- PageMaker® version 6.5
- FreeHand® versions 4.0, 5.0, 5.5, 7.0 and 8.0
- Photoshop® version 2.5 and later
(All raster formats supported by Photoshop-compatible filters -- Amiga IFF, BMP, Filmstrip, GIF, JPEG, PCX, Pixar, PNG, TIFF, and TGA.
- AutoCAD 2000®
- Microsoft Word®
- Sorry, we cannot accept files created in PowerPoint
- Please note: Placed files must be linked or embedded.
- Uploaded Artwork
We suggest compressing files into a single directory before uploading using Stuffit™. Compressed files upload faster with less chance of transfer interruptions or data corruption.
- If sending in a Macintosh format: Send all fonts used in the art and all supporting files must also be included. Be sure to list all font names used.
- If sending in a PC format: Send all PC fonts. Convert text to paths, curves or outlines (vector art). Be sure to list all font names used.
- Artwork sent via Disk
If you are sending your art on a disk, it is important that you include a hard copy of the artwork and any special instructions. Please send the latest version of disk art and label each color by the exact Pantone color (PMS) desired. It is also helpful to include the directory showing the file(s) on the disk.
- If sending in a Macintosh format: Send all fonts used in the art. Any supporting files must also be included. Be sure to list all font names used.
- If sending in a PC format: Send all PC fonts. Convert text to paths, curves or outlines (vector art). Be sure to list all font names used.

- Accepted file via floppy disk, 100 MB Zip disk, CD, or Email
Helpful Hints
- Please note that following these instructions do not guarantee the art provided by you will output correctly. Some additional work may be required by our art department to provide you with the label you desire. This may result in additional art charges
- All scans in color or black & white should be at least 300 dpi at full size. We will be happy to scan materials or artwork for you if you do not have this ability.
- If you are doing your work in page layout software such as Quark®, Pagemaker® or Microsoft Word®, it is IMPORTANT that you include all placed images (logos, pictures, etc.) and all fonts used in the file, including postscript fonts for both the screen and printer.
- If you are doing your work in a drawing program such as Illustrator®, Freehand® or CorelDraw®, all fonts should be converted to outlines and all placed images should be included.
- If you are doing your work in AutoCAD®, all fonts and placed images should be included.
- Send a color copy (or black & white with colors called out) with all dimensions noted, including over-all part size, hole sizes and locations, corner radii or formed features.
- Use StuffIt® or other file compression software to compress files before sending via email if you have several files or large files to send.
